It is the God given right to protect oneself and one's family.The United States is different from every other country, except Switzerland, in the world in that the right to keep and bear firearms is affirmed in the US Constitution under the 2nd Amendment "....The right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed......"This was adopted on December 15, 1791. It has kept foreign powers from trying to invade our country due to the populace being well armed. There are powers now at work to remove this God given right and disarm the law abiding citizens of the United States. If this right is lost, all of our other rights including the "Freedom of Speech will be lost. It is time to make our stance vocal and remind the Government they work for us, We the People. The People do not fall under the rule of the Government but the Governement under the People. The Government is there to protect, defend and preserve our God given rights.
